You can get to the pier by hiring a private car from the airport. Pre-booking a private car ensures that a vehicle will be ready to wait for you as soon as you arrive at the airport, eliminating the need to find a car or wait in line. Step 1: Booking a Private Car to the Pier
Book a Car: You need to book at least one day in advance to allow the staff to arrange a car and driver to pick you up at the airport the next day, ensuring that a car will be waiting for you right after you get off the plane.
Book a Flight: You should book Flight 305 to allow enough time to continue your journey by boat. Otherwise, you will have to stay overnight in Trat and book a ferry ticket to travel across the island the next day.

Step 2: Meeting the Staff at Exit 1 and Getting to the Car
The staff will wait for you at Exit 1 of the airport to escort you to the car. The details of the vehicles used for the journey are as follows:
Vehicles: A private van or minibus will be used, depending on the number of passengers. The vehicles offer comfort and privacy with spacious interiors, soft seats, and a cool air-conditioning system, perfect for travelers looking to relax after their flight.
Drivers: Professional drivers with experience and familiarity with the local routes are selected. All drivers have valid driving licenses according to the law.

Step 3: Departing to Laem Ngop Pier
On the day of travel, staff will have the car ready at Exit 1 of the airport in advance. Once you meet the staff, check-in with the Confirmation document received from booking.
Travel Time: The journey to Laem Ngop Pier takes about 25 minutes, depending on the weather and traffic conditions on the travel day.
Step 4: Booking a Ferry Ticket to Koh Mak
Book the Boat: It is recommended to book a ferry departing at 2:00 PM or later to ensure you don’t miss the boat due to delays in reaching the pier.
